Mixed Doubles is a 2006 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Rajat Kapoor. It stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, Koel Purie and Rajat Kapoor. The film follows the general plot of a husband asking his wife to swap him for another male, while he swaps her for the other male's wife.

Plot summary

Sunil and Malti are a married couple living in Mumbai with their son Avi. They have a typical middle-class life, but Sunil feels bored and unsatisfied with their sex life. He gets influenced by his friend Harsh, who has returned from the U.S. and tells him about swinging, a practice of exchanging partners with other couples for sexual variety. Sunil becomes obsessed with the idea and tries to convince Malti to join him in this experiment. Malti is reluctant at first, but agrees after Sunil persists. They contact a couple, Vinod and Kalpana, through a magazine advertisement and arrange to meet them at their apartment. However, things do not go as planned and they face unexpected consequences.
